At The Jungle grounds we saw these exquisite Scottish Red Deer - so tame I even felt their antlers, which feel like luxurious velvet.
Soon enough, I was off to zorb in the giant ball. I was expecting to have to run myself down the hill inside the ball, but I was harnessed in with one of the organisers instead.
Strapped in safely, as I was, there was nothing scary to fear, so just pure fun to be had as I bounced and rolled somewhat high at times, down the hill. It was like a giant, slow rollercoaster. I had two turns, first going over forwards as you can see in this photo, then backwards where the other guy is sitting in the photo. The second turn was way better because you can't actually see how high you're going and you also don't have as big a sensation of falling as you do when going forwards. Such fun.
Put it on your "To Do" list, you'll be glad you did!
Well, after all that excitement, we went for a nice calming stroll along Lough Neagh to the Ballyronan Marina.
To end our fortuitous day, we are so fortunate to be staying right in the village where the Olympic Torch will be coming through and tonight the community had a Festival in preparation for tomorrow's torch relay, so to start the evening off, we stopped in at Mary's Bar, which, incidentally, is decorated in ornate 1800's style, for the first proper Irish Guinness!
Then we were treated to traditional Irish dancing - what a wonderful day.
