3 June 2012 NORTHERN IRELAND Sunday

A 2 1/2 hour ferry trip took us across the Irish Sea to land in Larne.  About an hour's drive north and we arrived at our next cottage in Magherafelt.  The inevitable grocery shop first and to our delight, the cottage backyard backs directly on to a field of 12 sheep.  We had to name them so we could befriend them and so we each took it upon ourselves to name three.  My choices were:  Stinky, Linky, Dinky - very original I know.  Mum's choices were:  Joshua, Jeremiah and Joseph - very sacremental.  Al's choices were:  Huey, Louei and Dewey - what can I say.  Best of all were Keith's choices:  Roast, Braai and Fry - have you EVER!!
Needless to say, the very next day they were all gone - Stinky, Linky and Dinky had magical qualities of disappearing, so they were alright.  Joshua, Jeremiah and Joseph clearly went up into heaven, so they're okay.  Huey, Louei and Dewey were of duck origin, so they got away too.  However, Roast, Braai and Fry we're not so sure about?!
