26 May 2012 STIRLING TO DRUMMUIR Saturday

Cheers to Stirling and on to the Highlands, stopping first in Aberfeldy at Dewars Distillery especially for Mr Dewar himself.

Onwards along farms roads surrounded by verdant countryside and the ever present bright yellow of rapeseed oil fields.  Rivers Tay and Garry kept us company, bubbling along the way with us, leading us through Dalwhinnie for lunch at Breakachy Farm, albeit only a farmers driveway, but no matter.

The afternoon drive took us through the Grampian Mountains and Cairngorms National Park with it's seemingly endles supply of trees and undulations, until finally reaching Blackhall Cottage.

Our neighbours were a pleasant surprise, in the form of a pair of shetland ponies aka puppies.  Each afternoon they came galloping down the hill to our fence for their afternoon tea of carrots.

Here's an Ork feeding the ponies.

Then their brush down with a pine cone.
