With just a few hours to spare before Kit and Dal head home (WHERE did the week go?), we decided to take advantage of the clear weather and visit Slimbridge Weland Centre. They had a huge variety of birds, ducks and geese on a vast property with hideouts where the serious birdwatchers go with their big camera's on each shoulder. We so enjoyed feeding all the birdlife and even saw blue tits from the lookout, up close. Such an array of feathers and bills is rarely seen in one go!

Lunch, a temporary good-bye to Kit and Dal and a walk for Al and I from Fir Tree's ridiculously steep lane along the Frome river with a Robin redbreast beginning and ending our day of birdlife.
