2 March 2012 BEACONSFIELD TO THE COTSWOLDS Friday

WOW I've so missed having wifi!

We drove uneventfully through picturesque countryside and villages, after a nice english tea with Aunty Verna and Uncle Tony in Harpenden, making our way slowly and leisurely to The Cotswolds and Fir Tree Cottage.
Our relaxed mood was abruptly broken by the narrow, winding lanes leading up to the cottage as we tried to squeeze our already tiny Ford Fiesta through the gap with side mirrors folded.

Our reward for getting to the top of Marle Hill was so worth it though, as we were greeted with the view from our new temporary home, Fir Tree Cottage.

I'd love to add so many more photo's but time is precious now with so much catching up to do and we're sitting in another hotel/pub using their wifi.
This is the conservatory in the cottage.
