Wednesday 12 October 2011 - Sedona Pines ARIZONA

Ah the bliss of semi-civility at Sedona Pines as we leave the hillbilly lifestyle of Rio Verde behind.
No roaming the wilderness today. After settling into our new RV park, we enjoyed luxuriating by the pool and in the jacuzzi.

For lunch we warded-off the chanceof cabin fever setting in with a refreshingly civilized lunch out - NO, not Maccas but a perfectly good restaurant in the resort grounds.

Best of all? Wi-Fi in the RV, no bush telegraph tonight thank you very much!

Some interesting facts about the previously mentioned snow-capped mountain:  It is called San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff and used to be a volcano, 3 metres higher than present day height - yip, thought you'd find that fascinating - you know who you are!

Other useless information you might want to know:  when walking through Dead Man's Pass, my Girl Guide skills saved us from certain extinction as we identified two stick arrows I had assembled to assist us in our return walk - yay me!  Secondly, I was later unceremoniously almost accused of shoplifting while grocery shopping in Wal-Mart Cottonwood, as I INNOCENTLY pushed our trolley to the packing area with an item invisibly tucked away in a back corner. A little old lady with hawk eyes came hobbling over to me and very accusatorialy said "I think you've left something behind" - HAHA, the indignancy of if all.

More random pics as we didn't venture far today.  Firstly of our walk in said Dead Man's Trail and more incredible views.
