Monday 10 October 2011 - Red Rock Country

The scenery we saw today was incredible.  We drove to Village of Oak Creek and walked a trail to Bell Rock which is entirely formed in red rock.  We were able to walk right on up onto the mountain and see the surrounding views from up high.  The trail was 7 miles in dry heat, so it was good to have a sit down and survey the intriguing surroundings. 

In the afternoon we drove through "Back o' Beyond" - literally.  Had a hippie lunch on the roadside in our RV and headed back to our campsite.
