OH NO - CABIN FEVER!!

We had yet another beautiful day out in the countryside at Slide Rock Sedona, 500ft above sea level.  The water was a bit too cold to venture in but we did enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch in the Slide Rock National Park.  There were a few brave folk (mostly crazy kids) who plunged into the icy water and slid down the natural water slide with shrieks and shivers.

In the afternoon, we drove up twisty turny cliff edge roads to Mesa Airport in Sedona with panaromic views of the mountains, Coffee Pot Mountain being my favourite.

Later in the evening towards sunset we revisited Mesa Airport to witness a majestic sunset with jaw-dropping beauty.  Incidentally, the Bell Rock I mentioned before is considered a spititual vortex where deep contemplation occurs - apparently we missed that, hence the cabin fever.

The photo's are of Coffee Pot Mountain, Slide Rock and the sunset from Mesa Airport Sedona.
