Kingman to Rio Verde

After setting off early, we had the most delicious Maccas Mocha EVER in a small town called Williams (est 1880).  Most of this trip had an awesome view of a snow-capped mountain which we found quite in contrast to the vast dry and arid countryside with it's red mountains casting a stern presence over the Verde Valley.

We arrived at our campsite at Rio Verde with prime location next to the Verde River (see last photo from inside RV).  Just a quick setting up and on to a stroll along the river.  We were enthusiastically "welcomed" by two big neighbouring dogs, fortunately with friendly owners.

Off to a peaceful countryside sleep.
