We drove on to La Manga, a narrow strip of land separating the Meditarranean from a lagoon. Had an incredibly tasty Spanish paella right on the lagoon, for lunch and walked far into the lagoon, Mar Menor, which never got deeper than our knees.

8 January 2012 CABO DEL PASO Sunday
Long drive down to Cabo del Paso this morning. Walked up to the lighthouse and saw a bride arrive for her wedding in a Ferrarri. The wedding finished with police escorting a huge motorbike cavalcade.
